Description
Anthropology 220 students worked with the Illinois State Archaeological Survey to excavate Samuel’s Mounds located at Allerton Park in Monticello, Illinois, in late July, 2017. They opened 1×1 meter square units around the mounds (leaving the mounds themselves undisturbed) to search for artifacts and features.
