Description
This project examines evidence based practices to improve the attention of kindergarteners in the classroom based on development in three domains: cognitive, social emotional, and physical. It describes scientifically based practices in contrast with popular practices, or fads, that have little or no evidence of success in improving attention. The findings reported here provide information that teachers can use to assess whether classroom techniques use developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) to improve the attention of children.
