Parkland Art Gallery and the Art & Design program proudly present these additions to the Parkland College Art Collection. Beginning in 1971 and continuing to the present, Parkland College has purchased several artworks each year from the annual Art and Design Student Juried Exhibition. Now permanently part of the Parkland Art Collection, these exceptional examples created in Parkland Art and Design classes were selected by Art & Design faculty and the Art Gallery Director in order to inspire future students and provide a history of the program. Look for these artworks as well as four decades of previous purchase awards framed and displayed throughout the college.
