Abstract
This podcast is the result of an ethnography assignment for Anthropology 103 which focused on perceived difficulties making friendships at Parkland College. Through personal interviews and participant observation, the group concluded that social organizations (such as student clubs or athletics) provide opportunities to form lasting friendships. Individuals who weren't involved in such extracurricular activities were less likely to form lasting bonds.
