Abstract
This slide presentation is the result of an ethnography assignment for Anthropology 103. Students conducted an ethnographic study to test the hypothesis that technology in the classroom improves the learning experience at Parkland College. Using participant observation, classroom observation and formal interviews. Some of the themes uncovered are that students are generally positive about the use of technology in the classroom, but wavered on whether it held interest or was distracting.
