Rita Myles, RN, MS, Health Professions Faculty with Mandela: The Authorized Portrait for Parkland College Library's READ Poster series.
The 2016 READ poster was created in Parkland College’s GDS 108 Design Media and Principles class taught by Tim Stiles. The class is a foundation art course for digital artists taught in a computer lab. The course work focuses on solving real-world visual problems while learning design principles. Students also receive hands-on training in the Adobe Creative Suite. Erin Sheahan’s design was chosen this year.
