Abstract
Conventional farming relies on the importing of fertilizers to make up for removed nutrients through conventional farming methods. The import of these nutrients is not sustainable. Alternative methods to conventional farming may allow us to shift to a more sustainable, or less destructive method of managing soil nutrients.
