Abstract
This poster investigates the causes and treatments of radioactive exposure and the diseases that follow and outlines how Iodine plays an effective treatment. Focuses on a specific isotope of Iodine, I-131, investigating its effects and uses in radioactive activity and treatment. This is a project for the Natural Sciences Poster Session at Parkland College.
