Abstract
This poster for the Natural Sciences Poster Session at Parkland College describes the accomplishments of Roger Y. Tsien, joint recipient of the 2008 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Tsien is known for the development of fluorescent proteins. beginning with the GFP chromophore and expanding into several colorful mutations, which enabled scientists to study biological processes that were previously invisible.
