This series of videos was created for the Health Professions division at Parkland College. An interdisciplinary tool, it is used by all departments within the division to ensure that all students have a better understanding of how to effectively use simulators as they practice toward eventually interacting with human patients. After completion of the video series and supplementary materials, students are required to pass a quiz with 100% proficiency. Course effectiveness is also measured by a student survey to be completed upon passing the quiz.
