Communications 142: Introduction to Radio Production | Communications | Parkland College
 

In COM 142, students learn audio production techniques and equipment operation. They practice basic script writing, editing and producing commercials, public service announcements, and newscasting, with practical application in a studio setting by working at WPCD, Parkland’s 10,500-watt FM radio station. COM 141 Basic Broadcast Announcing is a prerequisite to this course.
