This project is funded by the Center for Global Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Funds were used to purchase new course materials, facilitated by the Parkland College Learning Commons, and to provide two professional development workshops supported by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
During the Fall 2017 and Fall 2018 semesters, participating faculty members enrolled in EDU 931: Instructional Design, offered by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, which provided faculty with resources for designing new content and discovering new material. Modified courses in Anthropology, Criminal Justice, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology were delivered to students the following semesters. These are the course materials resulting from their efforts.
