Nancy Barrick Gaumer, Professor of Child Development in the Social Sciences and Human Services Department, presents It's Okay to Be Different, by Todd Parr, for Parkland College Library's READ Poster series.
The 2018 READ poster was created in Parkland College’s GDS 108 Design Media and Principles class taught by Liza Wynette. The class is a foundation art course for digital artists taught in a computer lab. The coursework focuses on solving real-world visual problems while learning design principles. Students also receive hands-on training in the Adobe Creative Suite. Miriam Tworek-Hofstetter's design was chosen this year.
